Weekend Scrap Project #7

The Snippy Mini Scissor Holder is a beginner-friendly scrap project designed to keep your small sewing tools protected and within easy reach. It is designed to fit thread snips or small embroidery scissors up to approximately 4" (11–11.5 cm) long. It can also be used to store other small sewing tools, such as seam rippers.

The hanging loop allows you to hang the holder from a hook attached to your sewing machine or keep it near your sewing area for easy access. It's a great scrap-busting project to make for yourself, and it would also be fun to make a few to share with your sewing friends so you can use them together. ✨

Before starting, I highly recommend reviewing both the written instructions and the video tutorial from beginning to end. Taking a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the construction process will make the project much easier and more enjoyable to sew.

🌼 Required Presser Feet:

Standard presser foot or 1/4" presser foot

🌼 Craft Time:

Approximately 40–50 minutes, including reviewing the tutorial and cutting the fabric pieces.

🌼 Finished Size:

Approximately 3⅛" × 4½" (8 × 11.5 cm)

The finished size may vary slightly depending on the materials used and individual sewing habits.
