Weekend Scrap Project #1

Weekend Scrap Project #1

NORI Mini Keyring Pouch

The Nori Keyring can be attached to your bag as a cute accessory, or simply used as a keyring for your keys. It’s a quick, practical, and beginner-friendly project — perfect for making a few to keep or gift to friends and family ✨

Before starting, I highly recommend reviewing both the written instructions and the video tutorial from beginning to end first. Taking a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the overall construction process before sewing will make the project much easier and more enjoyable to follow.

🌼 Required Presser Feet:

Zipper foot, and either a standard presser foot or a dedicated 1/4" presser foot.

🌼 Craft Time:

Approximately 30–40 minutes, including reviewing the tutorial and cutting the fabric pieces.

🌼 Finished size:

Approximately 3 3/8" × 4 3/4" (8.5 × 12 cm).
The finished size may vary slightly depending on the zipper size and materials used.

Difficulty: Beginner+

If you’ve sewn with a zipper foot once or twice before, this project should feel approachable and easy to follow.

Now, let’s get started ✂️

*Recommended fusible interfacing: Pellon® SF101 Shape-Flex® Interfacing.
